Who we are
Palm Oil Exchange (palmoilexchange.org) runs an online directory of businesses in the palm oil industry. Contact us at info@palmoilexchange.org about anything in this policy.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and password (stored encrypted by our authentication provider).
- Business listings: the business information you submit, including contact details and logo. Approved listings are published in the public directory.
- Enquiries: when you contact a listed business, we store your name, email, optional phone and company, and your message, and send them to that business.
- Contact and newsletter forms: the details you enter are emailed to our team.
How we use it
We use your data only to run the directory: to manage your account, review and publish listings, deliver enquiries, reply to messages and send the updates you asked for. We do not sell personal data.
Service providers
We use Supabase (database, authentication and file storage), Vercel (website hosting) and Resend (email delivery). They process data on our behalf under their own security and data protection terms.
Your rights
You can edit or delete your listings at any time from your dashboard. To access, correct or delete your account data, email us and we will respond within 30 days, in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and the UK GDPR where they apply.
Retention
We keep account and listing data while your account is active. Deleting a listing also deletes the enquiries sent to it.
